Making An Adoption Plan
Pregnant and Concerned About the Future?
An unplanned pregnancy can make you feel scared and alone. You probably have many questions about the future for you and your baby.
Emotional decisions are the hardest to make, and we understand that each person has a unique situation. We will provide a caring, listening ear while we help you decide what is right for you. No judgements. No lectures.
We care about you, and we would like you to know you do have choices.
Adoption Options
Open Adoption
An open adoption offers contact between birth parents and adoptive parents. Some of the different levels of an open adoption can include assisting with the choosing of a family, meeting the family and staying in contact with the family after the placement.
Confidential Adoption
Your privacy would be completely protected. Only your family medical history would be shared with the adoptive family.
Identified Adoption
You may have already chosen a family for your child. This family could be a family member, friend or acquaintance. Our experienced counselors are available to assist and assure that the adoption process be appropriately completed.
Medical Expenses
If you would choose an adoption plan, your medical expenses related to the pregnancy (prenatal care, hospital expenses) can be paid through a fund provided by the adoptive families and other agency contributors.
Reasonable Living Expenses
If you would choose an adoption plan, the agency may provide financial assistance to you through a fund provided by the adoptive families specifically for reasonable living expenses. Reasonable living expenses include items such as rent, utilities, or lost wages that are incurred during the pregnancy through the sixtieth day after the child is born.
Legal Services
Arrangements can be made for legal matters to be dealt with privately in the comfort of our offices. |
