Conventional parenting, standard school discipline or traditional family therapy techniques often are not effective for “hard to reach” RAD children and their families. Child Attachment Therapy is a program designed to treat children and to educate parents of children who suffer from RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder). Child Attachment Therapy helps parents of children who have serious issues that seem almost irresolvable. This counseling program offers help for the hurtful, destructive, untruthful, or impulsive child who resists nurturing – and the family members who are stressed by the task of parenting them.
