Catholic Social Services offers many programs designed to help strengthen parenting skills, and prevent and treat behavioral problems in children
Early Childhood Social and Emotional Development Consultation (ECSEDC) is a service to childcare providers of children ages birth through 5 years. The services help to promote healthy social and emotional development and address behavioral health needs to increase children's readiness for school and later school success.
The Incredible Years: Parents, Teachers and Children Training Series are parenting programs designed to strengthen parenting skills, prevent and treat behavior problems in children ages 3 to 10 years. This parent, teacher and child training series has been extensively researched and field-tested with over 1,500 families. After treatment, results indicate fewer behavioral problems and less spanking.
ParentLink Program - Free and Available to Young Moms and Young Dads
Our goal is to provide education and support to help pregnant and parenting young people gain confidence and understanding. The ParentLink program offers participation incentives and provides opportunities for young parents to meet and share the commitment of being a loving and caring parent. If you are a young person expecting a child or if you are a parent of a child under three years old, you are encouraged to participate in this free program.
FatherLink program provides assistance to young fathers up to age 25 in Montgomery County. The goals of FatherLink include promoting self-sufficiency and encouraging more meaningful parent/child relationships. Services are free of charge. |
