  More About Adoption

We know how important your child is to you. Perhaps you do not feel ready for the responsibilities of parenting. The choice of adoption is a way to offer your child a full and stable future.  Read Jessica's story.

Open Adoption

An open adoption offers contact between birth parents and adoptive parents. Some of the different levels of an open adoption can include assisting with the choosing of a family, meeting the family, and staying in contact with the family after the placement. Open adoption is an agreement between birthparents and adoptive parents. Your counselor can help you determine how much openness is right for you.

Identified Adoption

You may have already chosen a family for your child. This family could be a family member, friend or acquaintance. Our experienced counselors are available to assist and assure that the adoption process is appropriately completed.

Confidential Adoption

Your privacy would be completely protected. Only your family medical and social history would be shared with the adoptive family.

Medical Expenses

If you would choose an adoption plan, your medical expenses related to the pregnancy (prenatal care, counseling, hospital expenses) can be paid through a fund provided by the adoptive families and other agency contributors.

Legal Services

Arrangements can be made for legal matters to be dealt with privately in the comfort of our offices. If necessary, the agency can make arrangements through the court system to handle the adoption in a legally secure manner.

Foster Care

Our licensed foster families will provide your baby with a temporary loving home if you need more time to make a permanent plan. You may visit weekly while your baby is in foster care. If you feel uneasy about the idea of foster care, let us introduce you to one of our foster parents to answer your questions and ease your mind.
