Teens

Teenage pregnancy and early parenting continues to be a problem in the Miami Valley, and Catholic Social Services is doing something about it.  CSS offers intensive education and case management programs geared towards at-risk youth and young parents.

ParentLink Program - Free and Available to Young Moms and Young Dads
Our goal is to provide education and support to help pregnant and parenting young people gain confidence and understanding. The ParentLink program offers participation incentives and provides opportunities for young parents to meet and share the commitment of being a loving and caring parent. If you are a young person expecting a child or if you are a parent of a child under three years old, you are encouraged to participate in this free program.

FatherLink program provides assistance to young fathers up to age 25 in Montgomery County. The goals of FatherLink include promoting self-sufficiency and encouraging more meaningful parent/child relationships. Services are free of charge.

Teen LifeLink is a community-based program for teens ages 10-19 that offers group educational sessions, opportunities for community service, field trips, and leadership development. The program is free of charge for eligible teens. Groups are offered at Burkhardt Community Center, Wesley Center, Trotwood YMCA, Dakota Center, Mounds Street Academy, Wolfcreek, Arise Academy, and Founders Family Center.
